Description

I think this looks better in full size. This is the first of what will probably be a series of the same scene shot with different lighting and weather conditions. I built the terrain manually in Geocontrol2, using isolines. The ridges were made with a filter. Thanks for your kind comments in previous images and thanks for watching! EDIT: 2nd image in the series here: thumb_1594963.jpg

What a magical scene! Although the mountains look wild and random, there is order and calmness - they all lead our eye to the tower. The central ridge trail is full of promise, just follow the gentle ascend and you'll reach a safe shelter in the tower...

Very nice! Reminds me of my old homeland: mountains and fjords.

Damn, you are the VUE-MASTER! LOLOLOLOLOLOL I've been waiting years to use that term and you got it! Used isolines? Did you irradiate yourself? Aren't they radioactive? What's an isoline? You didn't have to make up words to impress me. LOLOLOLOLOLOL ^__^ This picture did that.

The terrain looks beautiful and highly detailed- will be nice to see it from multiple angles, lighting sources and environments. The geocontrol program you mention is very intriuging-- will have to check it out. Very nice terrain and atmosphere- always a pleasure to see a new picture from you!

I'm not which I prefer as they both look excellent, maybe just seeing the water through the clouds. Top work.

Great work and thanks for the reference to "Tertius" which I looked up and found all sorts of meanings and references. Ambiguity, mystery, mysticism, and the Bible.
