Description

This is just a quick render. An exercise in visual narrative with very few visual elements. So whatever elements there are, they should be there to push the "story" forward. If you would like to "read" this character's story from the picture and let me know what you come up with, I'd appreciate it. I'd like to know how effective this narrative is. Thanks for viewing. Figure: Anton Kisiel's Apollo Maximus

Very nice image - very effective lighting. Okay, I'll take a stab at interpreting the image... Our hero, a young and sturdy fellow, but without much in the ways of opportunity, pauses during his tiresome (and not particularly fulfilling) chores to gaze out into the distance, dreaming of what could be... hoping that this isn't all there is to his life.

He has a tough decision to make and find it hard to focus on work is one of the story I see here. If it's okay to say something... I don't know what program you are working with but to help the integration of everything in your scene it is helpful to add separate pieces of grass or something near the feet of objects/people so that they don't look like a separate image put on top, I've had this issue with Vue and that's how I fixed it. Just thought I'd mention it, hope it helps :) You're telling a great story :)

To Realmofillusion: Thank you for the comment! I was bothered by the overlay effect myself, so many thanks for the tip. I'm just starting to explore 3D (this is a DAZ Studio render), so I'm eager to learn as much as I can. To everyone: Thank you very much for your comments. They are greatly appreciated.
