Description

Since Modo will apply SSS for HDR lighting and has a blurry reflection option, I decided to see what I could achieve using only this type of lighting. The final image has a small ammont of curve adjustment added to up the contrast just a little. I also added a small amount of unsharp mask, since I didn't want to use the highest anti-aliasing setting. Render time was about 8 hours Products used: Luciana Facial Morph and Eyes by Danie and marfomo Florentine Hunt by nirvy and aoaio V4 Pureskins by MaskEdit History Hair by 3Dream Thanks to all those who have commented on my previous images and for taking a look this time. This is a nice portrait. But, for me, the clothing looks...i don't know what word to use. Basically the portrait is good but there's something a little off. I can't put my finger on it... But that's just me I guess.

Gha! Gorgeous, simply gorgeous. To be honest what really does it for me is the fabric on her collar. Many people when going for "realism", concentrate on just the skin/hair but you went for the extra touch here, and the image is better for it. Excellent work!

Fantastic work there - LOVE the modo renderer. Can you tell me how you managed to get the hair transmapped? Is there any special trick you have to do. My hair comes in solid :-(
