Description

Skallagrim Kveldulfsson, like his father, refused to be subservient to King Harald Fine-Hair which did not make for good relations with said king. Skallagrim's friend Olvir Hnufa suggested that Skallagrim would do well to get out of Norway post-haste. Before leaving, Skallagrim and his father Kveldulf and their followers attacked a ship on which was Sigtrygg (The Lucky?) who had recently killed Skallagrim's brother Thorolf Kveldufsson. After laying out nearly the entire crew, Skallagrim killed Sigtrygg. Seeing this, the remainder of the crew jumped into the water but Skallagrim's men rowed after them and all were slain. We can only hope that Skallagrim was an honorable viking and killed Sigtrygg before he became a double amputee, and thus unable to properly defend himself. ; ) Thanks for viewing!
