Description

Moraine Lake is a scenic lake located in the Valley of the Ten Peaks within the Banff National Park. It is well known for grizzly bear activity. The lake was printed on the Canadian 20 $ note from 1969-1979.

I took this picture early in the morning. Just half a dozen tourists there at that point of time. Later people were canoeing on the lake.

Although I was in the "surrounding" (Bowron Lake PP/BC) of the Banff NP I have never seen it. But there was also bear activity - I don´t have to mention it. A great picture from a great landscape.
