Description

LOL, got your attention didn't I?! :-) I have no idea what these oddball flowers are called but this is my own personal name for them because that's what they look like to me... These are shots I took last May at the Keukenhof gardens in Holland. I thought I would have my poser image done today but I was away from home all day/evening and it's rendering again, just as slowly as yesterday so I am afraid I must postpone once more. Look for it tomorrow. - Here are some of my other recent works (I sometimes post at odd hours, so you may have missed them the first time around):

What unusual plants! They look like some kind of exotic lilies. I don't know, they look almost extraterrestrial in origin. I like the top photo best because of the vivid red petals. Actually, the shafts resemble skinny popsicles in a couple of the pictures, and some kind of worms in the other pics.
