My very favourite part of the world and you have caught it perfectly.

I love these houses you see driving around the highlands, so solitary and peaceful until you realise that solitude and tranquility is disrupted by the road you are on :( Not sure about the compo on this one (the cottage is too far to the right imo) but it is stunning scenery well captured, so scottish :)

I have to disagree with inshaala... I think the compo in this is excellent.... You have captured it in the way that you've focused on the landscape itself more than the house..... The house seems to be only a part of this majestic landscape and not the subject... I could be wrong but that's how I see it... Excellent work buddy! :) Thanks for sharing! hope you are keeping well! :)

I have seen this so many times from the view point of the cottage in the foreground. This works much better, the cottage is a minor part of Glencoe.

I'm with Mr. Ribs! The landscape is the center of the universe here, the cottage is merely a tiny way station from which to admire the beauty. Yes I know it's probably been there for a hundred years or more. But who could get tired of these views? Thanks for sharing. BJ

Crackin' landscape and cloudscape, Anthony. I wonder what the Council Tax is on the cottage? Mind you, I could do with the peace. Glasgow seems just to be a massive building site at the moment. It is the roads they need to renew.. Moan over. Regards, John.

Ah yes, the lonely cottage. I'm sure I have that in my collection from my trip to Scotland :) Very nice image, good details in the sky and the earth.
