Description

Sigma 105mm EX DG Macro. Post in photoshop. Taken yesterday this shot stood out as a connection between man and beast but in this instance a nice old man, some food and a sea bird. It also shows the distance between us in two ways, first the physical distance apparent in form and the space between the two "subjects", and the distance of trust - the bird never came to collect from the human's hand showing its distrust, this hesitance can be seen in the photo itself. I thought i would spell things out, just so you can see what is going through my mind when presenting a photo like this and giving it a title. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look and thanks to those who commented on my upload yesterday - and if you were wondering it isnt an HDR ;) thumb_1322735.jpg Enjoy! Rich http://album.cogia.net

This picture speaks for itself. It's colour and light is beautiful. I can't find the right words, but therefore I quote part of what mayday142 said earlier: it is a poem for the eyes. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice day, Els

Bravo for this one! (and certainly others I will discover) About Salamanca: I used indeed the mirror for my eyes, but just put the camera on the table (or a seat?) and took an automatic picture. Exposure is good with an Ixus (excellent mini-camera when you travel) but not perfect! Of course I admired all the sculptures of this building, and specially the little astronaut... but It was 2 years ago and, since, I saw many other cities and countries! Hasta la vista! domi48
