Description

So I was asked by a good friend what photography means to me, what is the most important thing in photography to me... And this is it - art. The ability to create an artwork with digital as you would do with film. True painting with light. Knowing you're camera and the conditions around you. How to manipulate them to truely capture an artwork... I'm not apposed to curves and levels, simple stuff, but adding in colours and tints, things like that are seriously fun. But for me this is what is important to me in photography. I am extremely pleased with this effect - I can't say that I've seen it on the net yet. What is important to me is to create true original works of art - with your camera not with software... Hope at least one person can see where I'm coming from - it's just what's important to me. No disrespect or dissing anyone else - please don't take it that way...

No postwork - that's the thing - it's all natural - I only did levels to correct the exposure abit...

I really like a way this two shots turned out, real movement captured created by the ocean and a surfer. And I got your point too!

Very dreamy effect, that doesnt make much sense, does it;) Love the way you produced these images. Its always good practice to set a goal and come out with results like this. Excellent work and congrats on pushing your photography further and further. Love the presentation too;)

Great stuff Vera! I am glad you thought about it. We can all get locked into that 'picture a day' mentality where everything is like a technical exercise. These are definitely beautiful, unique and very well presented... looking forward to much more from you +++
