Dear Roland, You've really been doing a lot of stuff while I was missing - but you need to post some more (Oct 8th the last??) I really love the underwater scenes and this one is really so fine!! They are always a major challenge to get the lighting and stuff right so it looks like it's underwater. We've been experiemnting with a new rendering engine at work that should do a lot better job of handling the water caustics - so Digital volunteered for an underwater shot. Big disaser!! It came out as black on white!! Whoops - back to the drawing board!! (Again!) I've read about the places where you can "swim with the dolphins." This reminds me of that - I think it would be so cool!! I've encountered them a few times while diving, but they mostly just ignored the blond intruder to their realm!! Hope things slow down a litle for you and you get a chance to do some more pictures!!!! Love ya, Meredith

Good to see that you are back in action (I remember why you took a break), and thanks for your comments. I will probably step back for a while again, working on building things in LW and learning ZBrush. This looks like very interesting and very complex arrangement that involved quite a few polygons. All of the sailors' dreams (and fears) are realized here. Colorful, dynamic, and lovely work. Excellent.
