Description

I took this photo in Calico, Nevada under smoldering sun, after I saw it I thought it would be nice to covert it to Black and White. I used a warm duatone instead of sepia. Comments always appreciated,

WOW, the lighting really brings out the textures. You can't help but notice those fabulous clouds, a very clever POV ensures that. Wonderful image, two thumbs up from Newbieland!

Great image with a nice bottom left to top right light-dark thing going on as well. Cool find and obviously i havent seen the original colour but i think you made the right decision to put this into B&W

I like this tone, better than I think it would have looked in Sepia. The sky is very beautiful in black and white, very clear. Lovely shot :-)

Oh my god! This sky...those clouds....your tonal range....sharpness....siiiigh. This is sheer perfection if you ask me. You sure picked the perfect tone for it, although im sure it looks amazing in color as well. But definitly not sephia...i cant even picture this one in sephia. Awesome job! Have a great day. #:O)

This is quite wonderful the tonal contrasts are so good you obviously know your stuff.. Bravo.. I am so curious what this old ramshackled place is used for a retreat for bad weather? or a shepherds hut
