Description

Rendered to disk with Ultrafractal. The 8 flame layers were made with Apophysis 2.02 then moved into UF and colored there. 18 layers total, including masks. Thanks for looking at this one and commenting on my previous images.

Wow, what an exquisite image! I like the natural 'frame' of the image. The symmetry and contrast of colors are excellent.

VERY EXCELLENT. Only the central picture appeared as an Apo fractal, but the 18 layers in another soft mask the origin of the result! I am very admiring !

Of course a marvelous composition, only in my opinion it just does not reach the balance I normally see in the colouring of your images, the contrasts seem a bit harsh in my eyes.

A wonderful image. A tour de force even. Captivating detail. BTW, how did you do the frame and the other square bits? Is that Apo with symmetry?

Hi Tim. Yes, it's forced dihedral symmetry. No need for UF mapping transforms on these flames. The non-flame layers are kaleidoscope mapping set to match the flames
