My name is James Lee. I am a self-taught 3D graphics artist living in Brighton, Michigan. Im a big fan of science fiction and cinema, finding design inspiration from movies like Star Wars and Blade Runner.
I use Rhinocerous (modelling), Poser 5 (figures), Cinema 4D (modelling and rendering), PhotoPaint 10 (post-production and texturing)
My current body of work focuses on an accidental heroine, a mouse named Claude, and an ensemble of alien characters caught up in unusual circumstances. BIO Proud to be featured on

Huuuge... :) And I just love these letterings! Great work! Simply great. And the design just looks perfect.
Wow, haven't seen you post in a while! Great to see new work. Always love the clarity in your staging. Welcome back.
Incredible modeling & texturing! The scifi-deco ships are well designed. VOTE
Those details are amazing, especially how you can see a li'l of the inside! Cool!
Ok, when exactly are you going to release your sequel to the "5th Element"?
I really like this ship design, the sense of scale and the realism are unbelievably stunning.
Another C4D master piece to the galleries. Your work has a beautiful architectural design, very clean, something between artdeco and sci-fi. Excellent details...V
Heya James my friend, I wish I could be 'live' in the ship and have a look outsite. BRILLIANT as ever!!
Waiting for someone to comment on the name of the cruise line.
Outstanding work, a future I wish I could be a part of!
I went back to look at your other stuff. Got say I think you ROCK!
I am liking this - bigtime. The retro feel is great.
Wow!!! Love it! I hope it doesn't hit an iceberg! :)
Ah, the twenties and the art they gave to us. I sometimes wonder if the original Star Wars trilogy would be such an inspiration to us today had Ralph McQuarrie never produced his concept designs for the film. --- Now to my question; I would very much like to move beyond Bryce, particularly so I can 'truly' model but I find Lightwave a bit scary. Is Cinema 4D the way to go?
Breathtaking... the models are amazing, and the whole scenery shines with careful lighting and nice details. Bravo V
I love the style of your work!! very cool!
The universe you're creating is amazing, besides your high technical skills in building movie-like scenes. I'm very curious how it will evolve...
I was just browsing the galleries at random and came across this. It looks like it could be a screenshot from a high-budget tv show!
You KNOW I wait with baited breath for each new image of yours. I have a lot of breath baited up, let me tell you. When you do deliver, you don't dissappoint. This scene is out of this world (pun intended) and could spend a hour pouring over all the little details. Job well done -- just post more often, PLEASE! =]
Incredible pic quality (models, textures etc.) - Lucas/Spielberg should call you soon! :D
simply outstanding!
Your detail and chrispness are a constant inspiration. Most amazing work again mate, bye cal
Adorable ship design and great capture of it. I think you got the art deco feel very well. And looks very realistic. I like that we can see into the interior. Top notch work.
