Description

Here's a second image for my gallery at the request of a member headed back to Iraq in a couple of days. Good luck, Kevin. This picture was taken the week of the Centennial of Flight at Jockey's Ridge State Park in North Carolina. The same group that built the replica of the 1903 Wright Flyer also built this replica of the Wright Brother's 1902 glider. The crew were out playing with it, close to sunset, on the day after and I just happened to be at the right place & right time to take this picture of its canvas wings and wires supports silhouetted against the azure sky.

very nice shot, the lighting helps to hide the fact that those are people from today and focuses on the plane, gives a sense of what it was like back then.
