Description
Between projects... A little fiddling with the presets in Lightwave for the chain object. Lighting was done through use HDRI, one spotlight, and one fill light. The background object is a box with an image texture created in Photoshop. A little use of alpha channel from Lightwave to blur the background further in PS, since I was not happy with the DOF results. As usual, let me know where there is room for improvement, or useful techniques.

Top texture work on this!
Pretty nice texture on there. But for some reason the top link is a wholly different texture? Also I'd think using a background that wasn't so similar in color and texture would aloow the veiwer to focus more on the chain and its texture. Lastly, even tho its a texture test and all, you can always play with composition/negative space, and lighting to make things more interesting. Nice work with the rust texture tho.
