Lubna hung back and pointed his weapon at 518 as he scrabbled up the ferrrocrete pipe-side. Jaeko advanced cautiously, filled with hatred and anger. 518 swayed like a reed in the wind, fever gripping his mind. He felt week and shaky as he tried to guage the human men that approached slowly. Jaeko shouted ,"HEY! Green boy! What're doing here? You drink too much? Speak up!" Lubna was trembling from fear seeing how big the Scav was, as he told his little brother, "Don't get to close to that green bastard, Jaeko. He looks sick or something." Jaeko acted, seeing 518's weakness and pushed him hard, shouting, "You sick, boy? Is that it? Or are you a run-away? You answer me!" Jaeko hauled off and struck 518 on the scalp with his left hand. Jaeko hand hurt like striking a brick-wall. 518 felt like he was in a nightmare, or dream-world. He put a hand up to where Jaeko struck him and looked blankly at the short man. 518 blinked and said slowly, "You. You're awfully rude. Where is the girl?" "You looking for victims,boy? Is that it? You looking for some of our women to feel up? You'd better answer, boy! If I draw steel on you, I'll cut you down to size!" Jaeko was shaking by the rage that had enveloped him. He wanted this huge Scav to give him any justification to draw on him and slice him up. "YOU ANSWER ME, BOY!" "She's my friend. She helped me. She ran off to help someone. She's Toxic." 518 thouhgt his brain would explode. He felt like he would fly off the world at any second. He had trouble speaking the language he had spoken everyday of his life, and putting the words together like bright beads on a string. Jaeko shouted, "You stupid? You stupid retard!" Jaeko kicked 518 in the crotch as hard as could. Jaeko dicovered that the huge Scav was wearing a ceramic-steel nut-cup as he stubbed his toe on it. Lubna shouted at Jaeko, "Stop it, Jaeko! What in hell are you doing? Get away from him!" 518 reacted instinctively and pushed Jaeko away from him. Jaeko turned red in the face and put his hand on his sword hilt. "You are dead meat, you monster!" Jaeko spat out the words with conviction. He no longer saw who was before him, but others that hurt him years before and he had his chance for revenge now.
