Description

As most of my projects this did not start out this way ! This is in fact Mancuso Mesa from I do not remember where (apology to the author!) and was initially aligned for a desert scene. Well eventually positioned myself in the gorge and saw those amazing layers of peaks like teeth in the mouth of this eventual river ! The focus thereafter was to convey a mood of gentle warmth and mostly to create a sense of flow. Hope this is to your liking and appreciate any comments or suggestions ! I agree with peten, fabulous lighting. I used to love this terrain, and this image has almost the same POV as a seasons series I made with this terrain, and similar surfaces too, actually. Yours has much better lighting though. Excellent work

This has the feel of being on the Colorado River taking a raft trip; shooting the rapids. Beautiful scene Paul. I like the lighting, haze and the special mood this image delivers.

the perspective you captured on this one is simply awe inspiring Paul...it really gives me the sense of being on the water in a boat, listening to the soothing sounds of the water and perhaps a bird cry echoing through the gorge...and looking up at the hill and mountains surrounding is incredible...amazing work!
