Description

Playing with lighting and colors again.I don't know if this came out exactly the way I wanted it to.I wanted to make her skin sort of "glow" and the headpiece is much brighter than what I wanted. But I hope you enjoy this one anyway. Please comment and let me know how I could have inproved this image. Thanks for viewing. Have a good night and God bless :)

That headpiece looks disturbing to me. I believe you can make the glow effect on her with the softglow option through your paint program. The face effects though look very good.

Glow renders well in D|S with the "Ambient" set to a lighter color than its default black; this setting can make things--like eyes--glow in the dark. Looks like you might have done that, but maybe too light on the headpiece. Try reversing the light/dark relationship between "ambient" and "diffuse;" that is, make the diffuse setting darker than the ambient. It'll create a reverse shadowed effect, but will add depth to the object. (I hate having to do postwork! :D )
