Another in the Mars series. Data as before. Pavonis Mons is stands at about seven km above the surrounding plain. To its lower east flank, there is a chain of elliptical, or oval-shaped, pits, lined up down the center of a shallow trough. They were both formed by collapse associated by faulting

Yes, a dramatic image with the lighting and atmo. Very nice surfacing as well. Standing at the flank of one of these Martian shield volcanoes, however, one would only see a gentle upslope, since the girth is many times the height. But it's nice to dramaticize.

Rich2 is correct. This render was manipulated to increase the surface features by several times to simply add some drama. Originally the shield was more of a gentle uprising, giving no impression of scale.

Excellent mood. But terraforming is impossible: too low gravity. There's only an atmospheric pressure possible like in 45 km altitude of the earth. What could grow in this heights?
