Description

Thanks for viewing. Just an imaginary place in a nice cold climate for all you northern hemisphere dwellers. The image is close to what I was first imagining except it changed halfway from a fantasy to a nature image. I wanted to play with Hankster's rock formations and the new Cone-shaped Conifer and get the wintery rock textures... so this is it :D I started this with GI but went back to no special lighting except for soft shadow. It was much more of the effect I was after. There are now many pines in the image. The front ones are all individually placed but the center and back ones are ecosystems. The buildings are also ecosystems except for the main one placed. The final specs come out as 9,545,037,770 polygons. The render took about 2 hours at 1600 pixels across and then reduced. Not too long as the lighting is not too complicated. Thanks for viewing and hope you enjoy it. Credits: The Hankster Cornucopia3D Alain Gracia DAZ VIP

It doesn't get much more photo-realistic than this in VUE! Great eco-control(love this snow .mat in the foreground)and the animals are a great touch!

Excellent atmosphere and lighting. Great composition. Looks like the wolf has spotted the rabbit... but then, that rabbit looks very big. The village looks fantastic. The trees are perfect.
