I saw this morning eborg1's posts and i tried to do something simmilar. The old cover is an effect from a PSP brush called "paper damage" and its free on the net.

Love the 'paper damage'! Good concept idea and the 'damage' just makes it more believable. I think that the title font is also a bit advanced for 1968, however a good effort that gets to the spirit of those days: - perhaps 1958 (or even 1948) would be more appropriate.
