Description
This fractal was originally created in UF3.04 and posted to a couple of other galleries. I wasn't happy with the texture, so I opened it in UF4.01 and played with the fBm textures. This one uses Toby's Newton Twirl ufm.
Thank you for all the nice comments for "Forest Jewels". I was pleasantly suprised and delighted when I found that it had made the "Hot 20" :)

This is beautiful! I just had to stop and take a good look at the full image of this; I love the colors you used, and I think the whole of it is quite elegant. The texture you finally got is just wonderful, too! So you used the Newton Twirl? I'm going to have to play with that one, then! LOL! Wonderful job here!

When I first made this fractal, I tried to eliminate the hole by adjusting the iterations, but without success. After I posted it here, I went back to work on it in UF4.01 and discovered that it was actually the bail-out value that needed adjusting for this ufm. I thought about deleting and reposting, but people had already started looking at it and commenting. :(
