This week we take a look at the works of art created by Renderosity members posting in the TrueSpace Gallery. TrueSpace is a basic 3D creation tool that began in the 1980's and developed a huge user base because it was relatively simple to use and because the rendering engine produced excellent quality 3D images. Unfortunately, after the TrueSpace company was purchased by Microsoft in 2009 the application was discontinued. The good news was that the final version of the application was free, but the bad news was that development stopped.
Renderosity artists have alwasy been interested in TrueSpace and the TrueSpace Gallery continues to receive new works, although they've slowed down a bit in the last year. I was impressed with the work in the TrueSpace gallery. The website for TrueSpace is long gone, but with some Google-searching you can find downloads of this free software if you are interested.
I've chosen 12 artists to represent the range of styles and effects that are achieved by renderosity artists using TrueSpace. Be sure to take a walk through the Renderosity TrueSpace Gallery.
Listed below are the featured artists from the Renderosity TrueSpace Gallery. Click on their gallery links to discover more of their works. And check out the short video at the bottom of this article which features all of the artists listed here.
