Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2026 Apr 04 9:02 am)
PhilC sells a belted trenchcoat for Michael here in the Marketplace and at his site, PhilC Designs. I'm not sure that it quite fits your noir needs, especially in the style- and morphing-departments, but it's worth a look.
Ghastley has a free duster for Mike, but it doesn't include a belt.
Visit GreyLight and look in the Poser Archives; the headgear section has a "Jones" hat. It isn't textured, but perhaps you can adapt the textures/bumps from the Capone hat.
Thanks, I've tried them, a real classic trenchcoat has bulk, ya hunch up in it to light a cigarette under a streetlamp and it makes a statement. It's probably also a bear to model. Everything out there is kinda Armani sleek. But thank you. I did find a fedora at 3D Commune and, I think several different cowboy hats might do in a pinch. And they're free. Emily
Congratulations. You win an all expense paid trip to Bay City, where you will end up sucker-punched, doped by quack doctors and led on and betrayed by dames that look like the girl next door but have actually been around the block just a few too many times. But you do get to crack wise to just about everybody and keep your battered code of personal honor intact in a crazy world that no one can really put right. Emily who learned everything she knows from mystery novels.

The latest PWFW overcoat just made the ache greater. I love it, I ain't turning it down. But what I really want is a big full morphing Philip Marlowe Belted trenchcoat, complete with morphing Bogy fedora-- so now do you remember who Philip Marlowe is? I have the Capone hat, and it's almost right, but the brim's too small. And it's not creased enough-- not been through enough punch-up, I guess. It's clear, I mean this for Mike?? Dames don't wear trenchcoats, not that much anyway, nothing to look down, ya see. One in Khaki, one in Black. Not asking much. Not expecting anything. Damn, I'm in a noir mood. Emily
