I rarely do mechanical models as I try to remain strictly a character modeller but last night I thought that I would do a dropship remniscent of Alien. While not an exact dup and that was intended, it has the cockpit of an apache and the shape of the alien vessel however the nacelles are embedded so that engines have some kind of stealth. I played with it a bit. Created a landing gear using endomorphs to engage it and a rear ramp that drops. I like expressions better that endomorphs when creating the landing gear as alignment problems can be addressed in the equation. It goes over alot smoother to me when dealing something that is not as abstract as facial expressions. Anyway, I decided to throw a few layers of textures on since I needed to work on texturing anyway. I guess it's okay. This is another one in the archive that I will probably get back to in another 6 months.
