Subject: What happened to being able to search for posts in the forums?

Richard60 ( ) posted Sat, 13 June 2026 at 8:20 PM · edited Sat, 27 June 2026 at 11:52 AM

In the past I was able to browse the forums using the search feature and find all the posts I created and all the posts where I answered questions.  Now it appears that I can only search for those posts that I created and not where I posted a reply.  Since I only created a small number it limits being able to find an answer to a question and being able to link to the original post.  Now i have to have a super computer memory to remember every word I typed here so I can look it up again.

Poser 5, 6, 7, 8, Poser Pro 9 (2012), 10 (2014), 11, 12, 13, 14

thanks for pointing this out...

i, too, would like to know, but more importantly, i'd love to have the feature restored as there have been times when i need info from a thread i posted in, but have no memory of the thread's title or how long ago it was posted.  searching by 'participation' helped me to always find it again...

Site Admin

Hi Guys,

This feature was being abused by AI bots and slowing the whole site down. Unfortunately the forums has grown to be so large that searching its replies is a threat to the stability of the site. Until we are able to implement a different searching mechanism, browsing all replies in forums will be unavailable.

Thanks,

Ethan B
