It is a sad time for me and my family at present.
We are still trying to recover from one family member who had rectal/colon cancer.
He had to take a leave of work to undergo Chemo and radiation treatments.
He is still in recovery and shows no sign of cancer but will not be released to return to work until the doctor deems him fit.

As a result our finances are at a very low level.
All our incomes go to keeping the mortgage paid and all bills paid up, and food in the house.
We can not do a GoFundMe for him due to certain parties waiting to find fault in his abilities to work, so they can create problems.
We pull together and stay on our feet but no money for extras.

My computer is old and won't support windows 11 so no new driver updates and it is also dying.
Being old myself, and sick to boot, I can't go out to work.
My only income other that SS Retirement is this work I do here.
Now my monster machine keeps freezing up with the blue screen of death, and I have to manually shut down for at least an hour before rebooting.
It is so often now that I can't work on my 3d stuff.
So my latest gal for LA Femme2 will be put off for a long while.
I'll be back when some good fortune, (if ever) comes my way.
Meanwhile, my store will still be here with all it's goodies.
If this monster dies, I can still stop in and chat using my tablet (and it is old like me).
Keep me and mine in your thoughts, please.

I’m really sorry to hear what you and your family are going through. Your post really touched me, it sounds like an incredibly heavy situation to carry at once.

And when there’s already so much stress and worry, having the one thing you use as an outlet start to fail must feel especially hard. I can only imagine how frustrating and overwhelming that is.

In a practical way, maybe someone you know who knows computers could recommend a simple upgrade. Maybe only one or two easily upgradable components could be replaced relatively cheaply? Might be worth a try, hope for the best

If only the same were true for us humans. Just replace the parts that are going wrong!
