Subject: Cinema's Cross Program Compatibility MDD plugin

Hi all just a quick FYI on cross program compatibility
There is free plugin that exports MDD files from cinema.

Mac version here:
http://www.rabbitroo.com/C4D/MDDIO_050b.zip

Meaning you can export C4D PLA animated meshes to other programs
that import MDD files like Lightwave& Modo.
I just did a test this a.m. with a poser rig that was animated in DAZ aniMate®
imported into C4D and baked to PLA via IPP

And exported to modo where the animated mesh can be rendered

just though id mention thisin case you were ever collaborating with another artist/team who needed to render your animation in a program that had no FBX or colladda support like Luxology's  MODO for example.

Cheers

Edit: well it looks like modo 401 will have colladda anyway

http://architosh.com/2009/03/luxology-announces-new-collada-plugin-for-modo-401/

but Ihope that people find the MDD  I/O plug useful
