Subject: New Bonny Clump plant varieties render in different colors?

chippwalters ( ) posted Fri, 20 July 2007 at 11:12 PM · edited Mon, 23 October 2023 at 4:44 AM

When I go into a Bonny Clump plant, and change the color of the petals and then ecoPopulate, the plants are now all different colors. Does anyone know how to make them a single color?

TIA,

chipp

I don't think there is a solution for this Chipp. This was discussed at Cornucopia a while ago as well and nobody found a solution. It seems that the color variation is "burned" deep into the model, even a complete exchange of the materials didn't help as far as I can remember.

So I understand.

Do you know of any other 'base flowering plant' which can be used to create a new flowering solid color petal plant?

Thanks,
Chipp

I think your only "chance" is the primrose that comes with Vue already. But maybe you have a look as well at Linda's free field poppies that you find here:

Thought the bonny clump as always white, and that the colourful bonnies had colour variations? Not sure, though, I have the colourful bonnies, but not the clump.
