Is there any way to move the IK goal of the IK chain away from the limb where its atached to by the figure hirarchy? My problem is that i have to use the poser model as skeleton for a way bigger object based dummy creature, which got it limbs parented to the poser male, the arms and legs of the creature are longer than the ones from the poser figure, that makes it float that far above the ground that the IK chain goals end up way to far above the ground. The creature is not intended as poser figure itself, it is just a animation aid, the resulting bvh will be used in a game using the poser males bvh data. we have hand animated walk sequences for this creature and some other things, but working with IK would make some things easier. i hope someone can help me with that ^^  is there maybe a way to add a box prop to the males hand, located on the ground for example, and drag the ik chain goal onto this box in the hirarchy editor?

When IK is turned on, you can change the Parent of the goal object.  Like if you have IK turned on for Left Arm, you can select the Left Hand and use menu "Object:Change Parent." and select a prop as the Parent to the hand.  Put your prop where you want it in relation to the hand before preforming the parent change though.  When you move the prop, the hand will follow its motion. Same can be said for leg/foot relationship with IK.
Does this sound like what you're aiming for?
