there should be a dynamics dial on the tunic. Its normally set to 1 , set it nearer 0. (object properties I think )
The dynamics in an anim will react to the figures motion. You canget ponytails flying all over the place. Turning the dynamics dial down will show less movement , 0 will pretty much turn it off.
Good luck.

No screens, because I am at work. Will try to post some tonight, if I can... I really would like to resolve this issue.
Anyway, here's the deal: I took the jerkin and over tunic from the Wood Elves package over at DAZ3D (www.daz3d.com/i.x/shop/itemdetails/-/) and converted them to Dynamic Props thanks to PhilC and Kamilche and their Cloth Room Helper. Items work awesome in the cloth room (although, I'd love to boost the resolution of the meshes), except for the Over Tunic... which tends to just sort of float up, and up, and sometimes over Luke's head and... well, it makes a mess.
I tried with a short animation from "zero pose" to pose... not loving the results on either the jerkin or the over tunic, especially the tunic which seems to be blowing straight up in a non-existent wind.
Start over, longest animation ever; the full thirty frames, with mid-stream pose changes and corrections to get the final pose I want. Jerkin looks great at the end (again, would be better with a higher resolution mesh). Add the over tunic, and no matter what I do, that thing is flying every which way, and has even flipped up over Luke's head, slid off his body and landed on the ground next to him.
To be clear, the over tunic is more like a serape or tabard than a tunic; and the animation does start with Luke at a height, then running down some stairs and skidding at the end...
I did try to use the belt from the set to hold the tunic in place by scaling the belt up by about 150% at the beginning of the animation and back to 100% at the end of the animation; but that invariably caused the tunic mesh to become distorted at the end as the belt shrank and the sim did not seem to now what to do with the situation.
Any advice, suggestions appreciated.
