Can you help me? I really like this character. Is this a V3 character? Where can I find her? And clothes? Thanks Peter

That looks like Miki from EFrontier to me ;) She's a new character, so there's not a lot out there for her yet, but she's got a folloing :)

@MorriganShadow Think you are right, V3 doesn't look so natural.

Thank you MorriganShadow I saw the promo images of Miki. She looks great! I think I will buy her. Does she includes the black clothes? Also, the nose, and texture seams different. Is the redhead Woman Miki? Thanks Jorge

I don't know where the clothes or texture are from. For that, you'll have to send an email or PM to 3Dream ;)

From the Miki product page "This pack has limited compatibility with previous versions of Poser. The Miki Face Room data is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH POSER 5 or earlier versions."

OMG that "Linda" Character...a caucasian Miki... she LOOKS Russian to me DROOL I'm soo getting Poser 6 [ poser 5 sr3 here :( ]

arcady ( ) posted Wed, 08 February 2006 at 10:51 PM

What does that mean when the face room data is not compatable? How usable does that leave the rest of the figure?

Miki comes with a pmd file for her morphs so other then P6 users are not able to use the morphs as pmd's are P 6 specific. The only chance I think is to have someone who is willing to take your Miki in P6, save her under a different name with external morphs switched off and then moves all the files related to Miki to an external Data storage and hands it over to you. But nevertheless, Miki will not work in the faceroom of P5. You can do a lot with Miki without the faceroom.

Besides P6 is great... just upgrade. ^_^

Acadia ( ) posted Thu, 09 February 2006 at 9:06 AM

I agree! I didn't have Poser 5 even a year when Poser 6 came out and I figured that there was really no need to upgrade. Plus I really couldn't afford to spend money on upgrading a program that I already had that worked just fine. As I read what people posted there were a few things in Poser 6 that I really would have liked to have available to me: TeraiYuki, the Gather Node, unlimited thumbnails without having to edit a library file, the ability to compress .obj files. But it wasn't enough to get me to upgrade. Then last December I saw a post that talked about Poser 6's ability to use conforming clothing in the cloth room and since I LOVE dynamic clothing, that alone was enough to make me upgrade. I had to shuffle my budget to do it, but I had to have it. The only thing I don't like about it is the lights. None of my Poser 5 light sets preview like they did in Poser 5, but they do render ok. However, it's not bad, as it took me out of my comfort zone and forced me to learn about making my own lights. Anyway, yes, if you can possibly juggle finances ... or even quit smoking for a month and use what you would have spent on cigarettes to buy the upgrade ;), I really recommend getting Poser 6 :)
