I guess indeed the full version comes with a lot more content as the demo (even when i never have downloaded the demo). I think there isn't a solution for your problem really - beside the fact that you maybe find a friend with a dsl connection where it is possible to download the whole thing faster. Or let it run overnight when there is not too much traffic on the net.

Sounds good. But you maybe have a lopok at the downloadable Poser version. This is heavy. They simply have the disk images of the CDs there, nothing else. Even on my dsl connection i was a little afraid wether this will work. But it did in the end.

I downloaded Vue4 yesterday and it took about 5 hours! I got several "interrupted" messages - "Internet connection has been reset". Don't know if this is the same thing as what you're talking about. Fortunately I was able to restart it straight away and I didn't have to start again from scratch. The only problem was keeping an eye on the computer for this message. I was hoping that I could buy online and download on someone elses computer (with broadband) but I've found that Eon is pretty careful about Piracy so I thought it would probably boot me out. Now I'm wondering how I get the extra content download at 433MB!!! Kevin
No what I meant was downloading 20mb today another 15 tomorrow and so on. This isn't possible with their current setup. 5 hours is bad enough but I reckon if I could maintain a good connection it would take me around 8 - 10 hrs! Not really practical. 433Mb on 56k? Good luck! Actually it might be worth asking if it would be OK to download on someone elses computer, I don't really see why Eon should object to that, providing the system will let you login from a different location. - Baz

I realise I'm clutching at straws here but this must be a common problem so maybe someone has a solution. I'm on a 56k modem which makes it impractical/impossible to download very large files like Vue applications without a download manager downloading in chunks. I'm interested in purchasing Vue4 download version but it's just too big! Eon won't allow the resumption of interrupted downloads, I've contacted Eon about this but they don't intend changing their system. I just wondered if anyone has a solution like maybe you can activate a demo once you have a serial number? Oddly the demo is much smaller, about 16mb I think. Must be the content that makes the difference? Any suggestions? - Baz
