I personally like to post right here in the forums. Just never got used to posting to the Writer's Gallery, but that works too. I do not believe 2200 words is too long for either fora . Someone correct me if I'm wrong. As to format, just copy and paste it from you text editor directly into the body of the topic on the forum. Standard stuff like a title and your name are good. I usually put the title in as the topic heading too. Someone else will have to address the Gallery since it has been eons since I've posted to it. There is no standard format. I like to see a blank line between paragraphs myself, for readability, but they are not required. Running it through a spell checker first is also a good idea. Just a word to the wise, if you think you want to get it published someday, don't post it here, or anywhere. Most publishers will not accept manuscripts that have been previously published, and posting to the Internet is considered previously published.

I've got a short story that I would like to post for comment, about 2200 words. What would be the best way to post it? Thanks Mahray
