I didn't get the ages. She said Dogs, I was just being cute... About Midnight or thereafter we both logged onto the chat room at the same time. Poor Zhann said a whole two words and then had to go 'caus the darlings were stinkerized. I'm sure she'll tell us all 'bout it when she gets the mess cleaned up. My sympathies Zhann..

awwww :(

Well, the skunk missed them, but I guess there was a little 'overspray', they don't smell so bad now....I had just let them out to potty and I think they scared the little guy and that's why he sprayed, ....:)

Robust and healthy looking pups. Looks like Alicia is Shepard?

Zhann ( ) posted Thu, 20 May 2004 at 5:39 PM ยท edited Thu, 20 May 2004 at 5:40 PM

She's Australian Shepard, we think...they all go for a walk in the afternoons, and she stays with the boys. Her owners work days so she was alone alot, by letting stay and play with our dogs her behavior has improved 100 fold...
Most of the pets in our subdivision that escape can be found at our house, at any given time, it's like we are animal magnets.....we just put them in the yard with our guys until someone picks them up....

The dogs next door have busted out the fencing 3x to go on the daily walks with Todd and I, seems we have better control over them than the owner does(one's a Great Dane/St. Bernard mix and the other is Great Dane/ Healer mix, so they are BIG)!

Good God Zhann, those are huge dogs! I can imagine you and the troop going out for walks, bet most people would steer well clear of your path. I beleive animals instinctively know where they're safe and wanted. Yes, I think it's really sad when an animal has to stay penned up alone all day and it's wonderful that you and Tod can offer Alicia the company, I'm sure she's a much happier dog because of it.

Yay for big dogs I say. There's a reason the Mayas ate Chihuahuas. I much prefer an animal with a chance of some personality. I've currently got three. Two from a pit bull named Jellybean. Chance is about 50lbs with short yellow hair. Mischief is about 35lbs with Doberman coloring. Spencer is a 60 lb black and white something with probably terrier and Dalmatian. His owner killed herself and he was taken to the pound when they found her. Pete was her shrink and bailed Spencer out but he was too rough with his 2 year old so we got him. Incidentally Spencer is part skunk too. Actually he just likes to steal the cat food, which gives him horrible gas;)
