Ive been working on this for the last couple of nights. Just wanted to see Bender in 3D. Any comments? I've got a little refining to do.

Very nice model, great character & shadeing. The plain gray shadows on the back wall is a good contrast to the chrome. However, I think that the shadow of the hands seem to meld into the reflection on the characters abdomen which causes a little confussion. I do like the shape of the shadow though, it looks like some ice tonges (remember them?) going to snatch him up.

I plan on using him in some detailed scenes later on. I see what your saying about his hands melding, a little more work should fix it, thanks. What Ice tonges??????

Kaom, Nice model. Very good work! Did you use Carrara to model it in? Keep us updated. Clint

Yes I did it all in our favorite little ware Carrara, I even had a successful boolean subtraction, when making his mouth. I love Carrara despite all the problems, what it does, it does wonderfully.

Uh Oh.... Looks like some competition. :) Looks futurama-rific, though. Would you mind e-mailing me and letting me know briefly how you made him in General? I'd like to see some alternate approaches. thanks! Hoborg hoborg@u.washington.edu P.S. - HI EVERYBODY!
