I'm my imagining this or does the symbol on her left shoulder say "the great one unity" (heavan) - I vaguely recall seeing that symbol drawn by a history teacher I had that also was a grand master in the martial arts. Which asian language is that? Without the line through the middle, it means "the great one" or god, right? Darn, I should've paid more attention in class. What does the other symbol say? Aharon
Thanks for the kind comments everyone. The finish line is in sight so I'll just keep pluggin' away till she's complete. Aharon - Good pick! The Kanji symbol on her left pad is 'ten' and on the right 'shi'. ten + shi = heaven('s) + messenger = angel Japanese Kanji can have several meanings and pronuciations depending on the context but this one seemed to fit well. As to your question about removing the bottom horizontal stroke to get the Kanji for 'god'. I looked through my character dictionary for this but couldn't find it. From there I went to a standard E-J dictionary but found that the character for god (kami) was completely different. My guess would be that this wouldn't be the case since 'ten' is a compound character. The top horizontal stroke is the character for one and the bottom horizontal stroke plus the inverted V is the character for big. The characters just don't break down right. As I said, it's just a guess since I'm far from being an expert on Kanji.

My self-imposed one week deadline to get this released has come and gone. That was a result of having to take a detour into making texture/trans/bump maps for the Poser4 unitard. I had never tried it before now. I have to say I have gained a greater respect for the folks doing clothes using the cat suit and unitard. It took a while to figure out the ins and outs but I think I've made a pretty good start. I decided to scrap the earlier top and bottom because I wanted something a like more unique for this figure. The suit will be released with the top and bottom in white as pictured That's because there are so many different color schemes in the wing textures that will be offered. OK, some notes on the image. The hair is K's new trans-mapped pony tail. The face is Yamato's Young Nene face exported as an MT and applied at a setting of 0.5. There is a multi-morph for the chest and unitard to keep them in sync when I reduced the chest. The texture and bump map for this are getting way too large. I'm doing them at 2048 X 2048 so I have enough definition for the light effects. I'll try to reduce them but I may have to offer them as a seperate download item. The textures on the wings bones are currently being re-worked for more resolution. The shoulder pads are poseable so they can be positioned correctly when the arms are moved. One problem I'm having is knowing when to quit on this figure. It seems that every time I start working on her I think of some new detail to add. The way it's going I'll have to publish it on a CD rather then putting it on my website. ;-)
