The question is, once I get it done, would it be of any use to anyone?

Sorry, I should have mentioned that there is no post on this except to convert it to a anigif. That is to say that the sword's light blade extends and contracts in poser :)

Nice one, DEL! Will the tip of the "blade" be rounded, or flat?

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

I always thought the tip of the blade was flatish, as seen above, but the toys and stuff were always rounded. Which would be better? the one in the picture can be tapered in poser which makes it kinda sharp. Let me know what you all would like it to be and I'll accomodate...:)

The tip should NOT be flat... it should taper slightly to a rounded end. Ideally, it should be a "tube within a tube" so that the "core color" could be whiter and brighter than the "outer semi-transparent" tube for the glow. And, yes, it would be nice to have. - - -

heya; cool idea! ah, just morph the sucker so it can be round/flat/pointy/whatever. ;)
