Thread: Vue 6? | Forum: Vue
Actually for me, landscapes only represent a small part of my images. Since I concentrate on the figure in the render, everything else around it is secondary.

Using shade sounds like too big a pain in the ass...If I use xfrog 3.5 does that allow me to use the .lwo extension?
And in doing so, I open the plant in xfrog, export it out as a .lwo, import it into vue. Then ultimately save it as a .vob. Will they still be those obcene sizes (I had one plant around 90 megs)?
Thanks for your help Bruno

I was pretty happy with vue 5 infinite...I didn't suffer from any bug that I can think of.
Im looking forward to 6 simply because of the ability to use displacement maps.

For some reason I can't export it as .lwo. I have the option of shade, obj, autocad or renderman.
Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for the tip. Could you be specific on how I would do that. It is a character model not an prop or piece of clothing.
Thanks

I agree, I think Poser 6 is a train wreck of a release. I have a quad processor, 16 gigs of Ram, a 650 mg Wildcat graphics card and 525 gig hard drive - so I KNOW its not my system. My libraries take too long to open, and I keep getting insufficent memory prompts. I have installed the update and I still have problems. Ill still to Poser 5 and Vue. Im still pissed that I wated my money on P6.

I have a pentium 4. 3.7 gig computer. 2gig ram. The new Extreme ATI X850-XT video card. For the time being until CL gets their head together, ill stick with Poser 5 and Vue.

Bloody hacks for putting out such a bug ridden product. These are not minor bugs - this is a major problem. So much for quality control.

Thanks everyone. Further to that, are people having longer load times with their folders. As I've said this only happened with Poser 6 and not 5. I need relability...Im going back to the slightly less unstable Poser 5 and do my rendering in VUE. Vue also does not accept Poser 6 pz3 files.

Honestly I don't have a clue. Ghostwind saved the original as a bmp then converted it to a jpeg. And that seemed to work. I uploaded a new one today easily.. Who knows??
