Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2026 Mar 31 1:01 pm)
I've seen it used in Maxim (and some other mags like that) over the last few months. One of them used Poser Dork and a baby along with line drawing to show how to change a diaper. The latest issue of Scientific American has an article on quantum teleportation. The full-page image inside was obviously a combination of Bryce and Poser (you can recognize the distinctive Bryce textures and the figures are clearly Poser.

This month's issue of MAXIM has an article called "Instant Ninja", which gives us guys with no self defense training whatsoever some pointers. Poser was used for all the storyboards outlining the moves ie: What to do if your opponent puts you in a headlock and other usefull secrets. It was pretty funny actually, because they did some post production, mapping Garth Brooks, Steven Segal, Dennis Rodman, and Saddam Hussein to several of the Poser figs pretty convincingly. At least well enough to make me laugh my ass off for a few minutes. The title should have read: "Poser dork whups ass, and you can too!" co(V)(V)union
