Subject: Paint by numbers?

pbn.jpg I wonder if it would be fun to play with a digital version of 'paint by numbers' ? Each 'number' could correlate to a 'hex' number for that color. The user could load that color into their 'paint bucket' tool and then just click all the corresponding areas. It probably wouldn't appeal much to Poser artists, since we prefer to just make our own images. Maybe for kids? The effect is created by converting renderings to vector images.

Flash I think you can also do it with Freehand?

There are shareware programs that convert any picture to a Paint by number (PBN) pic.

My daughter in law would love a paint by numbers thingy. Where can I get one of those shareware pogs for her???, or rather for me to make her some pics to paint.Please.

Thanks for the info, I haven't got flash or freehand, I hope to be getting Illustrator soon maybe that'll do it? I'm on a mac so it's unlikely the shareware progs are available for me :o( Baz

There are several I dwnloaded awhile back - but didn't purchase - although they were around $20 and some looked pretty good. do a google for Paint by Number and you'll catch them, sorry I can't be more help.
