I'm having some more issues with Poser 12 since my "could not connect to the license server" issue last week.

When I open Poser, there's a very noticeable lag when switching to the Material Room. I even tried doing this with a blank scene and it's slow.
Then the UI elements are not where I left them. I can click on a UI dot to restore everything, but why did this happen?
There's a long lag after clicking to apply a material setting.
When I open the Render Options, I click the PostFX button and that dialog box never opens.
I click Render and nothing happens for about 30 seconds, then it starts rendering, but there's no progress bar. Though I can see it's rendering.
When I click from the Render tab to the Preview tab, there's a noticeable lag.
When I click from the Material Room to the Pose Room, there's a long lag. When the Pose Room appears, the UI elements are not where I left them.

I restarted my computer in case there was an issue with the graphics card, but these issues happened after I restarted.

I didn't install any Windows updates or graphic card updates since the last time Poser 12 worked correctly. And both DAZ Studio and Poser 11 work and render correctly, with no lag at all, so I don't think this is a graphics card issue.
And Poser 12 has been working fine for years, until last week's license-server issue.

I opened a ticket with the Poser Support team but I was wondering if the community had any ideas or suggestions while I wait to hear back from them.

The Poser support team suggested I update my version of P12... and it looks like I'm using a very old version!

So I'll install the latest version and see what happens.

I'm surprised that the version you were using didn't notify you that there was a newer iteration. That should be it; there are no further updates.
