Saw that about the Titan, They paid the price they took their chances then paid the ultimate price with an Unproven Submersible. A sub that seemed built on the fly with parts on hand except the Carbon Fiber Titanium Hull...was the Hull tested in real case or in a Barometric chamber which is not the Ocean...I dunno but I'll tell you one thing I wouldn't have done it no matter how much money I had.

I'm with you on that one. Nope, not for me. But if I had their money and influence, moved in such circles and wanted to do the adventure/exploration thing, it wouldn't have been on board of anything unproven or experimental. There'd be so much testing and safety measures I'd probably get booted off the project and mocked by all my fellow billionaires for being too cautious. Idiots! What good is money when you're in a million pieces at the bottom of the sea or turned to dust and debris in outer space? 

As for the Titanic, she's a graveyard and ought never to be disturbed. Nor should anything that goes anywhere near the water ever bear that (or a similar) name again. Put it on a No Go list like they do with extremely catastrophic hurricanes and such. Out of respect, if nothing else.

And no, I don't give a hang who thinks that's superstitious nonsense. Some things really are better left alone, secrets known only to whatever Powers there may be.

Might try it with a different SD model, that one is called Crystal Clear Photorealistic and it is my favourite so far. But there are others that might also prove interesting. Not sure how many bananas I'll get, though. ;-)

I like that style, reminds me of a fantasy sci-fi magazine I used to buy back in the 80s & 90s -- sure sign of old age I can't remember the name. I do remember the awesome supernatural and superhero character posters it had that I wished I'd someday be able to draw. Is there any particular prompt you use to get such painterly light & colour effects or is it just the way MidJourney handles some things. It does seem to be especially good at fantasy illustrations, I've noticed.

Also: More Banana Hammock Guy. Different SD model used. This time heavy on the steampunk, less so on the bananas. And nary a hammock in sight.

Dude carries a really BIG pair of bananas. Wonder what he's compensating for. ;-)

Been ages since last I picked up a Conan issue. Those big black and white magazines, sure were great. Gave 'em to my brother when my eyes went too messed up to read most comics.

Yeah just saw the news of v 5.2 of Mid-J sounds cool haven't tried it yet, the Zoom and prompt Trim feature sounds especially cool...nice examples of the Zoom Gill

All the new features...sound cool 

- All upscales now have 'zoom out' buttons underneath you can use to reframe the image

- [Zoom Out 1.5x] [Zoom Out 2x] pulls the camera out and fills in details on all sides

- [Make Square] adds details on two sides to make a non-square image into a square one 

- [Custom Zoom] (advanced) gives you a popup text box that allows you to change the prompt as you zoom out as well as the aspect ratio or precise zoom. To change aspect ratio set ``--zoom 1`` then change the ``--ar`` to your target. This option will try to remove black bars on your previous images.

OK tried the "Shorten Prompt" thingy on last nights prompt that I was in the process of shortening when I gave it to Byrdie the push of a button gave me a list of Shortened prompts it the style of the "Description option"

Wow man v 5.2 is a trip everything is new again thank you Mid-J keep making my Sub a worthy expenditure.

I don't do postwork on my AIs I generally post them on creation in Mid-J for two reasons 1 is I'm only mediocre at postwork and 2 it takes too much time.

Quality set of examples Len..!.. impressive amount of details it's added to the last creation,

V 5.2 first Blush experiences with it. Sharper, Cleaner more detailed images...Wide short images ar 16:9 ar 2:1 seems to take a long time to render...Tall skinny ar 9:16 and 1:2 seems same render time as always...all in all I think I'm going to stay in v 5.2 except for niji 5 mode, hope they do a niji 5.2 that'd be cool.

Will definitely have to have a play with it later on, with out a doubt niji 5.2 is on the cards....

OK I went from a unnecessarily long prompt to a very short one, got results I expected and I can clearly see the difference in v5.2 quality

Fascinating! That ninja chick sure she's got enough swords? They have a sale on at the smithy or what? Have some more beach boys to post when this batch is done. Tried "budgie smuggler" as a replacement for banana hammock -- I'm almost afraid to look. 

@lenord -- hard to believe you don't postwork 'cuz those are really, really good. Must be all that sweettalk you give the AI, huh? ;-)

Well, it does seem that SD does have a clue about "budgie smugglers" and did not provide the crazy I was expecting. Very nice stuff, though I had to specify dark skin to get ethnic variety since the apparent default is white. Does keep trying to write Canon on the swimsuit even though I specified no text, words, writing or logos. Because prompt sez canon M50 photo, I guess. All very good at any rate, though I probably need to fix the writing along with a couple odd fingers if I wanna use 'em for any projects.

Just a quick test...Marilyn Monroe, portrait, 1953 Hollywood glamour photograph age 27,....v5.2...using different lighting and photographic film of the time, 2 roles, 8 images, 1 from each set....far beyond anything i've managed before...
