Prompt was "Christmas, Two turtledoves"Lenord: Somehow I missed your technicians; those are some talented people. How many points do you get for running over that crab-like thing with that Mars rover?
Bakapo: the prompt seems much better and the foreground snow is really good.
Gill: in turtle dove image, did you use turtle dove in the prompt or just dove? Just curious. They are really nice.
Had company most of the day so have much to catch up on.

I got a bit of a blip on one of the "4 calling Birds" - although I did acutally like it :)Any of the drivers of the bus will do just fine. Kinda depends upon where the story goes I think.
Byrdie: I had the same trouble in Wombo. Gill, got doves in MidJ.
Darkglass: The girl is stunning.

You scare to easily....!!

LOL! Those calling birds would make a great vintage phone company ad, maybe promoting a long distance Christmas "Call someone you miss this holiday season" campaign. Grandma with mustache? Must be a janny. Or as they're also known around here, mummers.
Christmas Contest just got announced all over. Even in this, the A.I. Forum. But the rules say "No A.I. Art Permitted". Dunno why they posted it here if we can't enter unless 100% non-A.I. Confusing, that, so I asked for more details, like if maybe they'll consider having a separate category.I hate Mondays especially when they start with a trip to the VA for a cardio check, sitting in the waiting area everyone saying have a Merry Christmas's and such....Bah Humbug!! I'd say then I had an idea...For nonsense how about a Bahhumbug
A Bahhumbug

Getting to the rules is a bit convoluted, you have to click the Enter link to go to the contest page, then there's a details or some such link, anyway this'll take you there: https://www.renderosity.com/contests/1595/2022-3d-holiday-contest
I would not expect 3d category to allow A.I. stuff because so far none is 3d that I know of. But the 2d section, one would hope, should have leeway in either mixed media or our brand new A.I. section to perhaps consider a separate category. Or even a separate mini-contest as a sidebar to the big one.
AND ... I checked under the 2D category entry page as well. Same rule:
When I was the moderator of the Fractals here for a couple years I held Fractal contests for just the Fractal Forum the Moderator of the AI Forum should be able to form a Contest just for the AI Forum anytime they want and even have a Daily Challenge Thread it's up to the AI Mod.
Remember...No matter where you go there you are
It's going to have to be done separately from a sitewide thing because of the prejudice against AI by all other Purists so it would have to be AI Forum internally. That the AI Mods would have control and it would be strictly for AI generated Imagery. If the Mods say no it's because they are too lazy to undertake the job or TPTB told them no and that would show just how they feel about AI also..

Does seem pointless posting it in the AI forum. Had a look at the prizes and even if I was still using Vue, can't see any prizes there that I'd be interested in
Gill
Not many I'm interested in winning either, my contest entries have all been just for fun and if I did get a prize or an honorable mention -- which ain't often -- it's just gravy. But would it really hurt the Big Letter ARTS if a restricted-to-our-own-room table was set aside for us A.I. "pretty picture makers" at the feast? Just wondering, that's all.
Sick not fun, so take care. Tomorrow I will be spending most of my day in hospital doing pre-op for a (hopefully) minor procedure in Day Surgery this Friday. Will probably be laid up all week, I get thru this, so not expecting a great birthday or Christmas. Only reason I'm not in screaming panic mode is this new art and my favorite oldies music.
But enough with the depressing stuff, here's a prompt I just found that makes for nice holiday scenes on Wonder app, so I'm thinking good in MJ and maybe SD also.
Detailed Antique Unique Christmas Celebration Scenes 1800s NYC with colorful Christmas lights
Thanks. Love the steampunk muppet prompt results. Here's a few from that old christmas prompt. I did 1800s NYC then swapped it for same era London.

Looking at the partial borders on some of them, I'm wondering if maybe the AI was trained with old Christmas card designs. Or else it thinks that's what the prompt is about and is trying to imitate cards. Will probably have to put cards and borders into negative prompts next time to avoid that cruft.

How did you know what the bus driver looks like Len, a perfect casting call! Look's like I'm going to have to keep the story going since he shows up later. The image of that kid alone on that muddy road pulls a bunch of different strings, thats why I like it. Alice (Abigail) is just going down a different rabbit hole this time... ;)
