I was an Admin on the old SeventhCopmlex.com where I met her that had to be more than 15 years ago now before I came back to Rendo. Sad day when she left Rendo but I get it we all gotta do what we all gotta do. She was a big Chicago Bears fan her husband and me were big Broncos fans talked a lot of football during football season.Thank you, thank you!! LOL! Also a big fan of Jolleyself and the strange fractal style of blankfrancine who always has the best titles, prutzpinskylicious for example, lol. As for me I'm gonna keep the creepy horror stuff going, tis the season after all. Thanks to a certain twisted kid for some fun inspiration... ;)

Talking of which, I love how MJ interprets things. I often use song lyrics, as in this one. First 2 lines from Magnum's Storyteller's Night "There's a stormlamp on the table, throwing shadows to the gable" with a few other non-descriptive parms thrown in......I actually prefer this version to the remaster.

Some spooky season goings-on. The last has me wondering if SD tried to imitate a signature it thinks should be there, threw out an actual training image/copy, or took part of the prompt, which was about oak leaves and wind, and constructed a "signature" from that. Might be helpful if it wasn't so absolute pants at reproducing actual readable words.
Yeah using an artists style can produce a sig, I use Da Vinci a lot and it gives me a facsimile of his sig, sometimes right in the middle of the image.

Did not use any artist's style. Nothing but some of my own words from the story-poem attached to my latest work just posted in the gallery. https://www.renderosity.com/gallery/items/3084114/magick-a-cat-will-do
Was the verse about the rustling oak leaves I entered into SD as a pure prompt, no style, just to see what I'd get.

Might check those programs out when I get the chance. I also just took a look at Mage.space. Sounds pretty cool and I don't mind having to sign in with google. But. Have you read their terms and conditions? https://www.mage.space/terms-and-conditions
Pay special attention to the parts relating to copyright and what you give up FOREVER by using their service.

Thanks for letting me know about that Byrdie. I don't think a lot of people bother reading the terms and conditions but I guess I'll continue using the Stable Diffusion demo like I have been doing on the Hugging Face website:https://huggingface.co/spaces/stabilityai/stable-diffusionSeeing as how I haven't directly posted an image I'll do so now. Back in the late 90's up to around 2004 or so I was a fan of the Tomb Raider game and I've attached an image of Lara Croft in the jungle that I did the other night on the mage space website.

@Lenord -- The picture in my gallery was not used at all there so I've no idea where SD got the "signature" idea from. All I did was type this into the prompt box, straight text2image
"Oak leaves rustle, murmur, sigh, Faery laughter on the wind, Glowing eyes in midnight shadow, Shivers up and down the spine,"
without the quotes. cfg 8, steps 40, sampler k_euler_a, using stable-diffusion-v1-5-pruned-emaonly model. It'd make sense in a way if I'd done img2img because yes, there's a sig for it to imitate. Methinks this program is very like a cat in that it will often do whatever it pleases, regardless.

Now a bit of an ethics question: is it ok to use/post results that have these imitated logos/sigs/etc. or should they be given up on the minute you spot it? I have some beautiful pieces that are not image2image so no copying done on my part, but like you said the AI can assume any names mentioned in a prompt for artist style MUST have signatures or logos. I'm leery of cropping or cleaning them up and using them because I don't want to accidentally plagiarize if by some chance the program spit out another artist's actual work, not an interpretation of their style. Haven't found a way yet to read those symbols, etc. that SD uses for "signatures" because like I said, it's totally pants at real words.

This might help clear up any confusion. Also, if you've not seen any of Vladimir's tuts, he's very good. Easy for me I'm as unethical as you can get, I fought in an unethical war in Vietnam you can never recover from that. If you don't want your art used by anybody else online don't post it online...my 2cents on ethics. Doctors shouldhave ethics anybody dealing with Law and Politics should have ethics but they're all corrupt so the hell with ethics. If one doesn't intentionally take someone else's work as their own it's up to their own conscious if they should use it or not...again my 2cents.Now a bit of an ethics question: is it ok to use/post results that have these imitated logos/sigs/etc. or should they be given up on the minute you spot it? Now here's a better example of what I mean by the sig/logo question on some AI renders. When I first got it I decided not to put any artist names in as style examples because I was wary of misusing it. So I stuck to simple descriptions of subject -- Cute, playful ginger tabby kitten in flower garden, for instance -- and things like highly detailed digital painting, or acrylic painting (since I used to paint in acrylics when I was able to do non-digital art) for the image type. In this case Stable Diffusion gave me six very lovely kitties much like I'd paint myself if I still could. However, one of them had what surely must be somebody else's signature even though I couldn't quite read it. Was this quasi-accidental art forgery/theft or did SD think because the prompt said "painting", then "signature" and provide a facsimile thereof? Being very visually impaired (legally blind) I can't really tell whose name or mark it might be, so the renders are just sitting in a folder on my hard drive. Anybody here recognize it?

The other five are all the same style but nothing remotely resembling writing or watermarks. Why would it "sign" just one and not the rest?
On the subject of song lyrics/titles and Magnum as I was earlier....here's one of my favourite prompts using an album title "Kingdom of Madness)
Full prompt for this one (I added colour as it kept coming out the same shades previously) - "kingdom of madness, by Magali Villeneuve, by Josephine Wall, concept art, colour green, colour bronze, hyperrealism, fantasy, Full-HD --ar 16:9"

I'm loving all the trippy stuff at the mo - so different from my bucolic Vue renders hahaaa

@ Byrdie
Looks like it says M kitty or Kay or something like that. I have done many where out the 4 previews 1 will have a sig of some kind. I know Da Vinci's sig especially on mechanical and schematic type drawings drawings are very distinctive and the images I've done done in Da Vinci style that have a sig have that distinctive design or close to it but it's not his sig something else don't know what it is I think it's just in keeping with his style art. I don't have any problem using the images however I just do Art for fun never commercially if you're making money off it that's another thing.
