I'm no texture expert, but possibly adding some noise in the specular channel will help. Maybe a cellular noise at a fairly small scale. This should help break up the shine and get rid of the plastic look.

I'm trying to render a scene where V4 and M4 look fairly sweaty. I've played with the highlights and shininess but it mostly makes them look a little plastic. I know that there are some character packs out there that have some "sweaty" textures but they're usually designed for use in Poser.
What's the best way to render a sweaty body in Carrara?
Thanks!
