I just noticed something that's frustrating me. When I make a symmetrical lattice object and try to apply a volume material to it, it doesn't happen. When I render, nothing shows up for the object. But when I apply the same material to say a sphere it works fine. Is this normal, or is it just me? I hope this isn't a bug. Anyone out there know about this???? kaom

Did you make the lattice solid? In Bryce 5 click the edit button, then the triangle at the top of the terrain canvas, you can then make it solid and should be fine. Arleen

There are a lot of things worse than dying, being afraid all the time would be one.

Thanks I'll try that. You mean click the liitle "E" edit button right? Then click the triangle inside the terrain editor? I think I know what to do now. Thnak you , I'll see if that takes care of the problem. kaom
