Subject: Anybody know about Associated FX?

I'm really interested in getting the FX Shaders included in the "piggypack" shown at the "Associated FX" website  ( http://www.associatedfx.com/FXShaders.html ).    The thing is, the website there appears not to have been updated since 2007, and the listed plugins appear only to be for at most Carrara v5, and by now v7 is what I'm wanting compatibility with.

I tried writing to the support email address there but got no response yet.

Does anyone on this forum know what the deal is with Associated FX?  Are they still operating and/or maintaining their products?

 The plug-ins used to be free. He then went to a payment method and I suspect not enough folks payed up to make it worth the development time so he dropped development. 

Just reading between the lines.

If that's the case,  I certainly hope some of the other Shader Writers here will take note of the one that were formerly available there and write some similar ones to be made available somewhere.
