Subject: HDRI in C 6 Pro ?

sackrat ( ) posted Wed, 05 March 2008 at 2:22 PM · edited Wed, 15 July 2026 at 8:10 AM

OK,.........I'll admit, I haven't read the documentation fully,......just skimmed. And I'm brand new  at Carara 6 Pro,.........can I indeed use HDRI's in this app to light a scene and if so , how ? Now, I also use Cinema 4D 8.1 and you have to map the HDRI  to a sphere that encloses the entire scene,....is it a similar process in C 6 Pro ? Sorry if this comes under the heading of stupid questions but I a newbie.

Page 402 of the current manual covers it. Also check the included scene files under Global Illumination.
