Hi there

How if possible !
Do i get my preview render to always show fit in screen while rendering?
So when i render 2000x2000 i do like to see it fit to screen during my rendering ..

I cant find the way to do it ?!

Thnx

Hi BC, There isn't a preset for that because the image rendered is always displayed with a 72 ppi presentation so high resolution images simply don't fit monitors. However, right after the render starts, you can use the magnifying glass and shrink the rendering image until it fits.

People that don't get good renders don't know how to set up their files. ;-)

I only wished that it was better in the fire and explsions department :{
I was so smacked with 3Dmax explosions and Fume "the fireplugin" ..
I realy wished it was only 40% possible to make anything like that in CAR.

i was on a quest for some damn fine image's of explosions and fires fx with CAR.6 or 5
But i found nothing ... so i think its a no no and thats a pitty :{

Actually, you can get some amazingly good results from Carrara with the particle generator. The trick is in using the particle shader to control texture maps on the particles themselves. I've got some that I can't show due to some written agreements but let me see what I can put together. And, in the real world of faking explosions, many times it's easier and faster to put explosions in AFTER the render with AE, Motion, Combustion or Particle Illusion. However, at the rate of innovation in all 3d applications, things like Fume may be trickling down to other programs faster than you might anticipate. Check out this link.
